Default 1967 Corvette 327?

Probably looking for a needle in a haystack, but thought I would give it a try. I'm looking for the original 327 engine out of my 1967 corvette. If it is still out there and does not have the engine pad numbers ground off, I'm looking for it with this vin# 121093 on it.
thanks,
bob...........

It never hurts to ask but I think your chances of finding the original motor are pretty slim. Yours, like my ’67, may have had the engine replaced under warranty. It wasn’t that uncommon. The original owner of my car confirmed the dealer replaced the engine due to oil consumption. Based on the head casting numbers and date codes, it turns out it was only a short block change.

Take a look at the block and head casting numbers and date codes. It may shed some light on when and why the motor was changed.
