Cute, Thanks for posting - but I think that's a different kind of "StingRay", unless GM had plans for an Amphicar version..... 
I note at 1:08 of the second video that it was filmed in "SUPERMARIONATION"............ Guess we know now where "Super Mario" got its start...........

Yeah, I don't remember that show, even though I was 13-14 at the time.
When my coupe leaks it reminds me of the WW2 subs leaking after a depth charge explosion, so there is that submarine connection.

There was a show in the 80s that was called stingray, where a man bartered his problem solving skills for favors. He drove a C2 and his name was Ray.
