Try Lectric Limited. That where I bought all of mine with a great fit. I know others have used M&H with the same compliments.

I know, my original question was if I need the one WITH or WITHOUT aircon if the plan is to install a vintage air aftermarket aircon.

Call the manufacturer of the airconditioning system you plan to install. I have to believe they design their systems on the basis that the car in which it will be installed, does NOT have the A/C wiring harness.

I bought an Lectric harness. I beleive that the aircon harness fits the Alt on the D/S and the harness without air requires the Alt to be on the P/S.

I did ask Vintage Air directly, and here is the answer. (very fast, within a day!)

"The one w/o AC would be fine - the Vintage Air system comes with its own
wiring harness that will connect the power and ground directly to the
battery and one "key on" wire that will go to your fuse block or ignition
switch.

Thanks
Vintage Air"

If that is correct, it depends on where the alternator is mounted. If I am correct, if AC equiped (VintageAIr and others) this is on the DriverSide, so harness to use is the one for aircon.

I do not have A/C , but I beleive A/C is routed on the P/S.
Prior to installing the new wiring harness my Alt was located on the D/S. When I ordered the harness I just ordered the one listed as "except A/C". I had to relocate the Alt to the P/S to connect the wiring. Not a big deal.
