Cigarette Lighter Wiring
Currently there's no wire attached to my cigarette lighter. I want to get it functioning to use for GPS and tunes. What color wire should I be looking for under the dash to hook it up (1967)?
Thanks,

It's a heavy gauge I think #14 colored red. It just has a round femal connector

Thanks . I didn't see a wire like that when I was under there. I need to look again.

There is also a little light bulb with a billet shape housing that goes with the lighter

Apparently the wire is orange, not red. I found it tucked in next to the lighter. I plugged it in and promptly blew the fuse. I unplugged it and replaced the fuse with the correct 20A fuse (the PO had a 30A fuse in there).
Since I know little (make that nothing) about electrical wiring, I'll just skip the lighter as a power source for my GPS and tunes unless there's a really easy fix or workaround.
