Could always wait for the updated RS600! I'm going to cool my heels until then.
I believe Kiesler said (Shafi in an earlier thread) about nov dec - but then that date could stretch out
Anyone from kiesler could tell us what is happening with re-release of RS600?????

I didn't know you could change the gear ratios in a Muncie. I've never heard of a OD Muncie either, I guess I'm out of the loop. Who sells the OD unit or sells the gears for the gear set change?

Default Best 5 speed available

Do yourself a favor and call AMP performance transmissions in Arizona. I have their TKO 600 in my Cheetah and it is by far the best shifting 5 spd overdrive on the market. None of this BS about learning to shift the trans right. I have a Keisler TKO 600 in my 67 and there is no comparison. Just my 2 cents worth.

see post #41 above. granted, the .895 OD ratio isn't that great; the MY6 is a better option for OD although the Muncie OD's gear spread is better.

I honestly don't know but you should call AMP and find out. I can tell you that a couple of people (besides myself) that are very familar with both companies have driven the car and raved about the AMP TKO600. Not that Keisler is bad but the difference between the two trans (shiftwise) is night and day.

I know that Keisler offers a multitude of shifter positions and AMP may or may not.
The simple rail system in the Tremec is pretty much the same from tranny-to-tranny unless somebody has done the Liberty-style upgrades to enhance shifting; particularly the 2-3 shift. If AMP has incorporated that mod then God love 'em as it WILL make a difference.

All I know is that its the best shifting 5 spd TKO I have ever used. I called them about getting one for my 57 and asked if the feel would be the same with the .64 5th gear. They told me it absolutely would. The setup is not cheap though (all in about 4K).

Funny, they have similarly unflattering things to say about you.

I ordered a TREMEC TKO 600 from them for my C-1 and have been very satisfied.
