56 hood pull handle replacement question

56 hood pull handle replacement question
Hello everyone,
Years ago when I restored my 56, the wrong hood pull was installed. It worked properly, it just lacked the correct "hood pull" on the T handle latch. Maybe it is my ocd kicking in, but I would like to just replace the handle only. It doesnt appear to be just a screw on handle. It looks glued on. Anyone ever replace just the handle on these hood pulls? Any advice/tips/ or what not to do? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance
