Default Wirering a temp C2 washer pump

Hi,
I need to temporarily wire in a modern two wire Trico pump into a '67 to pass inspection.
Looking at the pic below, I gather I would run the brown wire to the positive Trico wire, but would I run the negative Trico wire to the blue wire, or ground it or both? The Trico pump is in a plastic housing.

Thanks,

Paul

Got it working great with the help of a friend.

Brown wire to positive on the Trico, and blue wire to the negative, works with the factory switch.

Will this work on all trico washer pumps? What model did you use?

I don't know what model, I've had it a couple of years. Should work with any two wire pump.

Which blue to wire, light blue or dark blue?

Dark blue is for the washer pump - light blue is for the motor. The dark blue wire is grounded at the switch when you push the washer button.
