I don't think I would let myself hang that anywhere. But on a different note, to show just how nice wives can be at times, In the winter of 83 when I had finished the engine build for the custom harley I built, the engine was the center piece on the dining table for awhile that winter. It was a beautiful site to see. Sometimes wives just get along and understand our little happy times, no lie !!!!

Hey, what you choose to wear is your business, we don't need to hear about it though.

G'day all, I think my wife would let me hang it in the living room. She is a good sport about my Chevy/Corvette addiction. I have assembled transmissions at the kitchen table before. One of my most priceless pictures is of our first cat sleeping in the lifter valley of a freshly hot tanked and washed 350 4 bolt in the spare bedroom.

Well, Geoff, it wasn't so much what she said. It was more the look of horror on her face .

The light isn't my taste but we've been shopping for a replacement for our current dining room light. I came across that one while searching the Web. Thought I might get a pretty good reaction if I showed her that one. I was right.

As long as I stay away from that light, I think I'm good with my pit crew, too. The '67 is in the shop for getting a carb rebuild, a pesky electrical gremlin tracked down, and an AC leak fixed. I told her how much it might cost and she said those words we all like to hear, "You need to do whatever you need to do to get the car running well."

As far as your cold garage, come on over here and use mine. The temperature out there pushes 100 degrees by mid afternoon. Pit crew says I should look into getting it air conditioned.

This bad boy got two months in the living room until the wife sent it to the basement.

So nice to have that answer " to get it running well" that Holley, new ignition, etc etc were all necessary to getting it running well
Just took the dog out the front yard 8*c cold 10 at night, I have a plan, on close inspection my central heating is accessible from the Garage Hmmmmm for the weekend list maybe.
Thanks for the invite though, you never know!!

This fixture is in the same category as the "major award" leg lamp in the perennial movie "The Christmas Story". It would meet the same untimely end at my beloved wife's hands with a perfectly plausible excuse...

In my opinion that lamp should be hung in some man cave or pool hall, not in the dining room. I think that lamp is cheezy.
