Hi Guys,
I just bought my first Vette, a 1965 convertible. I've been reading your posts for several months and have learned a lot. My car is modified slightly, so I know that it won't appeal to most, but I'm not a purest and I absolutley love it.
Original red, black/white interior 327/365 car
Now has a ZZ502 with Tremec 5 Speed
I added 17x7 Rocket Wheels (4.25bs) and cut 1 coil from the front springs and added longer lowering bolts in the rear. The car doesn't rub buy my oil pan pretty close so I may need to find something flatter to use.
Cheers,
Billy from Maryland

Welcome to the foray, I'm sure you'll find this place invaluable to your new hobby. You never really stop tinkering with these cars. With the torque of that bad boy, you may end up breaking a few things!

Many thanks guys!!!
Shemp - I'll see you on Friday
My last cars have all been Fords (1972 DeTomaso Pantera, 1969 428CJ Mach1, 1966 Fairlane Convertible, 1966 Shelby GT350 & 1966 K-code GT fastback). But I've always wanted a C2 Vette, so I decided to dress up and start wearing a bow tie
Here's a pic of the 502.

I'd like to throw my 2 cents in as I bought my first 65 vert. 1 year ago. Mine is almost all original but like you, I love it!
Enjoy the ride, remember the wave and prepare to learn alot from this group!
