Default How loud are your solid lifters?

327, 30-30 cam.
Just adjusted mine today, cold at 26.
Went through them twice, all is well I think?

I hear them ticking a bit, seems consistent on both sides.
Pretty normal?

Thanks, Pete

They should sound like an old Singer sewing machine....no single lifter should be more pronounced than the others. Sometimes over-torqueing valve covers will increase the noise. I use the go/no-go method...I adjust the gap until the correct size feeler gauge goes through with a distinct rub AND the next larger feeler gauge will NOT pass through.

Yeah, normal. Next time you run them, do .030 cold for a comparison in driveablility .

Actually sound a bit quieter than the LT1 video.

Guess I'm good.
