Default My (now) two-tone '64 interior

I just got done installing Lizard Skin, stereo, new carpet, new sunvisors, and the new "bullet" console and thought I would take some pics. I started back on MLK weekend on this project and spent a month waiting on the right carpet to arrive. I spent the last 3 days feverishly putting the final touches on it. Let me know what you think (and yes I realize two-tone interiors aren't "original" to 64's).

My next project: I will be starting a 4 car garage in the next month to get done before the baby arrives in Sept.

Looks amazing!

Very nice work.

Did you recover the seats yourself? Whoever did it's an excellent result

That looks really nice. Job well done! Do you think you might not hear your side pipes? Dennis

I think it looks great! Kinda looks like the current edition of new cars with the black dash and colored seats. Nice looking update. Too bad you won't be able to hear those sidepipes anymore

I dig it! Always like two-tone interiors, and I love silver.

Unless the Black Book is incorrect or I'm reading it incorrectly (always a possibility), it looks like a silver and black interior was available in 1964 (Code 899AA/AE).

Am I wrong?

It was, but I'm pretty sure it was just black dash and black console and silver everything else.

No, unfortunately I didn't. The guys over at Willcox did that, and they did do a great job. I took them my original seat rails that I had sanded and painted and I got back those.

Lou64,

Nicely done! Very clean, crisp. That silver/silver really stands out.

Nicest 64 interior I've seen. Well done! Just remember to turn down the blaster music at stop lights.

I see you've got one of "Frank style" bottle holders for those hot thirsty days. Are they leather seat covers?
