I'm the 4th owner
The original owner purchased it here in Redding, California and it never left
This car was a good driver until i did this, in/around the 80's and sat like this until 5 years ago.
Bringing Car Home My kids helped put body on frame.

1966 Roadster L79 327/350 Bought 1970 Owned 41 + years
Cost $2,100
May be the only midyear corvette to travel to all 48 states in one trip , done sole by me (I was really silly) covered almost 20,000 miles in 90 days 8/02/10 to 10/29/10 in modern times
With original engine drive train 250,000 + miles or more
I am the second owner , I bought the car from a Naval Pilot , his wings are still on my glove box as he left them, also with a decal on the vent window. The car was sold at the dealer in Pensacola , FL. to a naval ensign. I bought it from him in NY.

3rd owner was my Dad...he bought from his Best Friend (2nd owner) in 1968 who bought it 1965...and yes I was still in diapers the first time I rode in it.

32 + years. Not sure how many owners. Can only trace 2, me and the guy I bought it from. He owned it a total of approximately 2 months.
