Front was fine. This repair was necessary as the car had been sitting "hard down" on the particular sections of frame for nine years with the differential and spring removed. Before and after on the front area

Burning Brakes
I am doing frame repair on my 66 right now. I had the front and rear frame sections snad blasted and then I sealed it with PPG DP90. I didn't bother sandblasting the areas that were going to be replaced. The trans crossmember he forgot to blast so I will need to clean that up prior to finish painting.
I am replacing both 4' side rails and the #3 rear crossmember. I leveled out the frame with my laser and then bolted the entire frame to the floor with steel posts and epoxy bolts since the front would be separated from the rear frame during the process. I am 2/3rd's complete as of now. Here are some progress photos.

Here's mine
Typical frame rot
Besides the rust, my frame was twisted 1 1/2 inches from the motor mount at the driver's feet to the one at the kickup. The car was never wrecked. Twisted from the torque of autocrossing with a big block, I found cracks in the frame all over.
I welded a tube to the two cross members to maintain alignment while welding.
After I did the repair work, I took the frame to a good frame shop to have it straightened.

Burning Brakes
Yes I leveled out frame and bolted steel post baseplates to the concrete floor with 1/2" dia epoxy bolts. I used 2x2 steel posts and some steel baseplates. I used a laser to get the frame on a level datum and went from there. Then when I'm done I'll cut the threaded rods flush with the floor. I'm very close to being complete with my repairs. I'll throw up some photos later in the week.
