Any new Projects going on
I know some of you guys/gals are probably done driving for the year until Spring.
Any new projects being started or progress being made on your existing project.
Just looking for some motivation from the other projects to get the blood flowing.
I will probably be starting on the 64 for paint after the Holidays is the plan.

I bought my wife some new suspension for the '64 so she could give it to me for Christmas
sharkbite coil over front and rear!
i also bought the abspowerbrake electric booster - the manual booster is just too stiff for the C4 calipers, this should fix it!

Spring will be here before I know it.
Let's see, buying a TKO-600 from R6T7 and driving it back to Illinois to install in the '65 roadster, which is currently in the body shop after being rear-ended at the Canadian border last August. It will get it's first paint job (base/clear) since 1980 this coming January.
1966 Impala SS is ready for exterior molding, power window/power lock installation, headliner, seat recovering, door panels and several other odds and ends.
1950 Jeepster is ready for top installation, followed by carpeting and door panels. Then it will be substantially finished.
Begin disassembly of newly acquired 1957 Nomad, down to the frame if necessary. That will keep me out of the pool halls for a couple of years at least.

Gotta install new valve guide seals. I put in Sportsman II heads and they break the inner springs on a regular basis which in turn chews up the seals.

Just did front suspension: Borgeson power steering; Speed Direct aluminum upper control arms and coilover shocks.
After X-mas - Van Steel offset trailing arms and rear coilovers.
Lastly, Keisler RS-600 5-spd tranny next summer.
Cheers

I'd love to see some shots of the Nomad too. I have a 56 ragtop.

It's probably old news by now, but I should be making some substantial progress on my GS between now and end of first quarter.
I don't know if it helps you, but I'm fired up about it.

I've been working on exhaust (at least as far as the differential) and working on realizing winter is coming too....
The body has been on and off multiple times and should be going for paint in January or February...
In some ways, not too much longer, in other ways, a very long way to go... The good news is at any spare moment I'm restoring little things and packing them away, so I have tons of storage containers filled with parts already finished and ready to install...
Thanks,
Rich

Your frame and suspension is nice, that it almost seems a shame to put a body on it. Keep the pictures coming. I am still working on a 70 SS Chevelle. Now that the weather is cooler, I am going to dedicate my weekends to finishing it up. Jerry

Going to be putting the body up in the air about 1 inch and putting new body rubber to frame on her. Then going to put the air on her so I can drive her more this coming summer for sure. Then I will be done with it for the moment.. Buddy the body on yours really looking good and wait to see her done...... Robert

Started to work on getting the 66 Vert finished up so I can drive it next year. Found formed Heater and water hoses to fit it last week. Got A/C hoses made and fitted.
Next we will be tackling the wire done by a previous shop to get that straighten out.
Next comes getting exhaust fabbed for it, then seeing if we can get her to crank.
Then with Robert getting A/C installed in his Vert, maybe we can do a little cruising next year....

I am doing this to my 63 SWC:
1) Complete engine rebuild, heads will have the new seats that Ethanol does not corrode. New valves guides, springs etc etc. Engine balanced and blue printed. Roller rockers and roller lifters - Estimated completion - 2weeks
2) Rewiring the entire car with new harnesses throughout.- Estimated time to completion - 2 months
3) Vintage power steering and to do so I have to remove the 5qt Oil pan from the 327/340HP - Estimated time to complete 3 days
4) Installing Power windows -Estimated time to complete 5 days
5) Air Conditioning - Estimated time to complete 2 weeks
6) Cruise Control- Estimated time to complete 3 days
7) 4 wheel disc brakes all around -Estimated time to complete 3 weeks
Next fall will be body off to do what is left of the frame after doing all this work, and a paint job
