Live between the Keys and Orlando?
Hi,
Frankie is in the mountains playing Deliverance, so he is not available.
I had asked Frank to say hello to some friends from the Corvette Club of France. They had hosted me on my Euorpean trips. They are scouting the route for the clubs trip to the US in March 2017.
The couple scouting are flying into Maimi, driving to the keys , then north to Orlando etc. Tomorrow they land, and will leave 28th
They would like to meet corvette owners for advice on trip. Please pm if you would like to show them you car and events, leading to trip to NCM Bowling Green next year.
Others please pm me if you live along the route to Orlando from the keys, and want to be good US owners, great for contacts should you go to France on vacation

Auto Geek in Stuart FL, exit 101 just off I-95, are having a huge car show with all types of vehicles and a lot of Corvettes and show cars. Sat. 3/19 & 3/20, rain or shine.

Burning Brakes
There is an all Corvette show at Grand Prize Chevrolet at S W 152 St right off the Florida Turnpike between the Miami airport and the road to the Keys. Sunday the 20th. It is put on by the Sunshine Corvette Club. If they are spending the night in Miami tomorrow night then heading to the Keys they will go right by the show.

Its a pleasant change from the crazy land of Mickey Mouse and Harry Potter; a rolling country stream, a log cabin, a local gun shop that is also the drug store (they advertise "Pistols and Prozac" -- that is NOT a joke) and nice down-to-earth people. No big-headed, banjo boys have come by yet -- just the neighbors 'ole tick hound.
Anyway, sorry Jack I can't host your French buddies, maybe some other Florida members will do so...

There is a killer private museum in Punta Gorda, FL.....GM cars in pristine condition out the ying-yang:
I don't know what it takes to arrange a tour but maybe your friends could book ahead for their 'scouting mission'. Don Garlitz racing museum is in northern Central Florida just off I-75 as well..
