Default Holley again: Fast Idle Cam

Lots of questions on the Holley carbs. I have another one: I have what looks like the original 4150 on the car(may not be, but is close). There is a plastic cam for the fast idle which is broken. Does anyone know if there are replacement parts available and where I could find them?

I already looked on the Holley website and came up empty. If none available, any hints on how to fabricate a replacement fast idle cam?

Evidently Holley now sells replacement parts only through authorized dealers.

I have an old Holley publication showing individual part numbers. If you will post the List number stamped into your choke horn, I'll look up the specific cam for your application. Holley made several plastic fast idle cams.

The largest Holley replacement parts dealer is probably Chicago Corvette Supply. I believe Al bought up much of Holley's old stock when they got out of the small parts business.

My auto parts store caries thousands of little packages of holley parts.
They may not sell just the cam, but maybe a choke overhaul kit that you could pick the part out that you need. Some items are like this. I went to buy a squirter and, of course they are boxed in pairs of 2. I only needed one. :smash: :smash: :smash:
I am sure you will find your part at any Parts house that stocks holley parts.

If you strike out at the parts house,
try calling Holley 1-888-465-5395
If they cant help, call their
"Custom shop".

Thanks, everyone, for the help. Here are some numbers from the carb...there are a lot of numbers, not sure which ones are meaningful. If these don't provide any helpful info, I will try the Holley help lines and also go to my local parts guy and see whats up.

List 3247 763
3886101-E1 (second digit could be a 3, it was hard to read) this was on the front of the carb
45R 131B (on the inside of the carb)
6R 2829B (on inside of the carb frame)

Thanks,
Mark

The Holley part number for your original white plastic fast idle cam was 41R-539. Unfortunately, Holley doesn't mention this cam in their current service parts catalog for dealers.

The good news is that this same cam was used in many different Holley carburetors. These cams aren't difficult to find in good used condition. If you strike out over the phone with Chicago Corvette Supply and other Holley dealers, let me know. I believe I can find a used one for you.

jerrybramlett: Thanks very much for that part number. I will now go on a search and see what I can come up with.

I will let you know via future post what the result is.

Thanks again,
Mark
