It was completly custom inside. They put it in the parts swap area, and there was a matching little model of it on the swap table!
The guy in the blue shirt and the guy in the red shirt were pushing the car while the young girl steered. They unloaded in the Cars For sale area and pushed it into the swap.

Not sure what you "seen" but nothing behind the seats was '54 Corvette.

send me your email address and i will send you a picture of what i "seen". what was installed in car were original 54 parts. all gauges, radio, dash assembly, *****, steering wheel, etc. were correct. what custom parts did you see in the interior?

i believe that "thing" as you called it is possibly the motorama car from the early 50's of the to be future "corvair". it does say "corvair" on the back. or is that the trunk? or is it the hood?

If you got a chance to take some pictures of the '54 fastback, I would really like to see them. If you don't mind please send them to: michael.sabrsula@lyondellbasell.com
Thanks,
Mike

Sadly, so thin. What happens to this show when the contract ends in '13?

The car was not for sale, the guy is friends with John Kennedy and Steve Newsom and he brought it up there for them to see. It has some parts from the original motorama car and I overheard him say he would bring it back providing John came back. It was a very early two pull car, but I didn't take a picture of the VIN number. The engine he is putting in it has an original 066 head along with an original 53 valve cover, so the parts he is putting in it alone would cost a fortune.
