Default 67 435 horse coupe

Hi folks, my friend is intersed in a car from Pro Team Corvettes, it's lot # 1027C sunfire yellow 427-435 horse coupe, nice looking car, their asking 90k protecto plate no tank sticker, the pad looks funny to me the J and a couple other numbers, if you folks with some expertise on the stamped pad could take a look and tell me what you think, re- stamp or original. Thanks Ditch

My guess is that if they make no mention of the pad being the real deal and only say #s matching then it's most likely a restamp.

$90K sounds pretty low for a correct L-71.

No comparison, those broach marks look way different, thanks for posting that. And those numbers look weird.

Those #'s are comedy! Hahaahah. They actually stamped the letter "O" rather than the # "0". Waaaay to wide.

The 4 looks too wide too. It looks like circular 'broach marks'

And if you want to go first class, pay a little bit more- get an undetectable restamp. How many of those have you guys seen?

Are the block casting numbers and date right ?...if the market was stronger I'm sure they would pull the head an do a better restamp to try to catch a bigger fish...

I am sure there is many Corvette sales that sells Corvettes that they have had restamped.
