I am getting ready to paint my 65 in the original nassau blue (ff) and my paint provider has been unable to codes for the top paint manufacturers. The only thing he has found is a mixing code for sherwin williams dimension paint, which he said is low grade.

does anyone know of or have paint codes for my color for the major guys like dupont, PPG, etc? Also, if anyone has paint recommendations let me know.

We are planning Basecoat/clearcoat.

This may not help on your BC/CC project, but original 1965 Dupont Lucite code for Nassau Blue was 4690-L. Maybe your paint guy can go from there to the current equivalent. Also, Dupont "Dulux" code was 181-97344.

i have the code at home for dupont base coat clear, Duponts chromo primier series. I will post it later.

4690 is still a good dupont code for their new BC/CC system (painted mine 2 years ago using it).. Surprised your painter could not find it.
