Read the comments below the article. Says it all. Since your perspective is left, then to you any broadcast that slants left is "unbiased."

The constant drumbeat of the media bashing the wealthy and promoting class warfare/tax the rich mentality became part of this discussion by the poster who bashed the OP. The ideals of the left taken to it's fullest can be found in Cuba. I doubt there is one C2 in Castro's leftist utopia.

The poorest here in the states are not poor. Just do a search of other nations to see what poor really is. The poor here are rich compared to world standards of poor.

The problem we have here is the entitlement mentality being thrown around. It's people like the OP who have created the wealth that the government depends on in order to take it, redistribute it and keep the "poor" as life long dependents. They support this in order to maintain power through the dependent's votes. Disgraceful. Now we have this ginned up class warfare taking place where the people are being told they are poor because someone else took all the money for themselves and is rich. If that's the case we should all hate George Soros (as if we didn't already).

Our government (her initials are NP) has decided the Federal Government has created the environment that allows people to become rich, therefore they are entitled to take it away from successful people as they see fit.

And I am free to vote them out of office as I see fit.

I want to thank everybody for contributing to this frank and honest discussion-its been fascinating to hear everyones opinion about politics, finance ,the TV networks, the haves and havenots in society and the freedoms we all enjoy in this country.I think RRG007 got what he wanted-almost 2000 people who viewed his nice collection and we all got a break from talking about the usual Classic Corvette stuff. But I was amazed that not one person mentioned that car on the left in the background-one of the most amazing cars on the planet-a new Nissan Skyline, which can do the quarter mile in under 11 secs. I truly wish I could get my hands on one of those.Good luck and Merry X-mas to all.

Here's how things might roll in a perfect utopian society:

The OP and Saraholt61 have several collector cars.

RatDog doesn't have any collector cars and doesn't think that is "fair".

The government Fairness Czar sees the OP's and Saraholt61's postings and agrees this is not fair to RatDog. So he takes some of their cars and gives them to RatDog.

RatDog is ecstatic until . . . the Fairness Czar sees that AZDoug only has a 32" flat screen and that RatDog has a 58" plasma. So the Fairness Czar takes RatDog's plasma and gives it to AZDoug.

AZDoug is ecstatic until . . . and so it goes.

But, hey, today's December 24th. There's one gift we all share equally and we celebrate that tonight. And we all share equally the gift of the selfless men and women who can't be with their families this time of the year because they're serving and protecting our country so we're free to have these kinds of discussions.

Merry Christmas to everyone

I loved seeing the pictures of the original posters cars and good for him. I am also conservative and agree envy is a nasty sin. If anybody wants to see poor email me and I'll befriend you on facebook and you can see my last mission trip pictures in Nicaragua this year with our church youth group. Those people have little, but always a smile and boy do they work hard. We built a house "shed maybe to you and me" and broke ground on a three room schoolhouse. Awesome experience and yes it was very expensive for me and my daughter to go, so much so i put it on a line of credit. The elder in their community thanked us for "taking the time away from our families to help THEIRS" we were not thanked for our Gringo money. I can always make more money I just work harder and longer and take more calculated risks if need be. Time is finite and like everyone else I don't know how much I have left. I'm also thankful for my good health and positive attitude which enables me to achieve my balance. Merry Christmas everyone. Glenn

Too late to change the subject now, you already hijacked the thread. Yes, readers noticed the ricer, nice, but still a ricer. All due respects to the OP who otherwise has displayed some glorius corvettes. Thanks el mucho.

There's a PRC section on this forum for such discussions. I think that was pathetic for this thread to have been hijacked the way that it was because someone was nice enough to show his Corvettes on a Corvette forum. To the OP, I love your cars

Sorry your above comments do not excuse your extreme envy. Not much you can say to change that. You already screwed the pooch.

BTW the skyline is a piece of garbage and will have very little resale value. Like all japenese cars it will be in the unrestorable category if it ever becomes a classic. Plenty of cars run 11 sec nowadays.
