Stewy-I heard on CNN yesterday that 1 out of 7 people in the U.S. are on food stamps so I really believe this is not the time for anybody to flaunt their overconsuming habits. It just shows that certain individuals don t care about the less fortunate situation of others.I appreciate the fact that those less fortunate probably don t visit this site but most individuals who participate in the Corvette hobby are decent hard working stiffs who realize that they are fortunate to be able to afford just one vintage vette and do care about the financial situation in the U.S. where there is a greater differential between the extremely rich and struggling middle class. Therefore it bothers me to see people brag or show off what they are able to afford. Thats exactly what this guy is doing.I personnaly have several collector cars but I don t show them off on the internet. Why do people get pleasure in "sticking it in the face" of other less fortunate individuals.Whats your opinion?

You can't even enjoy the "fruits of your labor" anymore without someone trying to make you feel guilty for what you have accomplished in life.
It's not politically correct to do well. Everyone wants to bring you down to the lowest level. In their mind that is fair.
Well fair doesn't mean equal. Is it fair that someone who works their butt off should have half their income taxed away to pay for some lazy *ss who sits on a couch all day?
Without the "rich", where will all the bleeding hearts get the money for all of their social programs.
And who says everyone who owns a Corvette is rich? Maybe they don't p*ss their money away on crap...maybe they save up till they can actually afford to buy the car, foregoing other things like vacations, etc. How can you judge??
This whole topic and people like Saraholt make me sick.

Fruits of labour--you mean fruits of someone elses labour--give me a break-Sure there are guys that did everything honestly and legally to get where they are but most didnt do it that way-like your buddy Madoff and all his wall street cronies-and to state that anybody who is broke is lazy-next time you go to McDonalds make sure you tell the 60 year old waitress she is lazy or that guy working 3 jobs to support his family-Ya-just free loaders sucking the system dry-everybody who doesn t own 3 vettes must be a freakin lazy freeloading parasite. I know lots of wealthy individuals and every one of them is screwing the system-hiding money in foreign accounts and undrpaying employees etec etc etc..Your just too ignorant to know whats really going on.

No one said all those things like you wrote, but like so many bleeding hearts, you went to the extreme. Guess what, I happen to be one of the individuals you speak of and I have never screwed anyone which is a big part of my success. I don’t hide money or any of things you said. Maybe the company you keep is why it all appears that way to you?
This is a waste of time I know. Do us all a favor, if you can’t say something positive on the subject of Corvettes, go away and troll somewhere else.

Agreed, so why do you feel you need to belittle the OP? Do you know the man personally? You owe him an apology. We all want to see pictures of Corvette here on the CORVETTE FORUM. I post my pictures and my progress on projects too; does that make me a show off? I really think you need to re-examine your comments and make it right.

Madoff is certainly not my buddy, perhaps he is yours?
He is one example of greed and corruption. So what? Doesn't prove anything.
Does Madoff own any corvettes?
This is a corvette forum....for discussing corvettes, posting pictures of corvettes, and proving support and useful information about corvettes.
None of which you are doing.
Go find another forum that best suits your needs.

Well, since you asked, here's mine. Why don't you take your left-wing bleeding-heart liberal socialist "spread the wealth" beliefs and just wander off into the sunset? BTW, I also note in the news that the White House has LOTS of staff openings they can't seem to fill - I'm sure they'd be delighted to have you after you sell your house and cars and donate the proceeds to your local rescue mission.

There always gotta be one guy who takes a $h!t in the apple pie...Im glad RRG007 had the time to share pictures of his rides with us. I find nothing (wrong) arrogant about this..61Saraholt..Yes there is hunger, high unemployment, and recession (depression??)..I had to travel around like a Gypsy this year to keep working.. Why ? Simply the construction work in Tampa all but dried up..I guess I could have sat at home and b!tched and whined about how unfair life is...Remember the old saying...When the going gets TOUGH...The TOUGH get going..Those that are unemployed and off work STOP WATCHING TV AND PLAYING VIDEO GAMES!!! GET OFF YOUR ***!! and get a job...Deliver Pizzas, work on cars...WHATEVER..
America was founded by hard work and industry....
I like that old school thinking

Oh, and this is a Corvette site, a place where one may expect to view pictures of beautiful Corvettes... You want to look at pics of some clap trap, foreign beater car that fits your preconceived notion of what may be "appropriate" to post in these tough times?
Don't let the door hit you on the a** on the way out...
And to the OP. Cool cars!
