Default everything has a price.

If you are not looking to sell your corvette, but for the right price, "you couldn't say no"
Post it here and maybe someone really really wants it and will make you an offer that you can't refuse!.

Sorry but everything does not have a price. I have tryed to buy several Corvettes as well as other things and have offered WAY MORE then the item was worth only to be told IT IS NOT FOR SALE.I just had that happen this last weekend on a Barn Find Corvette. I guess it depends if the person who has what you want needs the $$$ or not or maybe it has sentimental meaning to the person who owns it. Sorry but I also have some things that are not for sale at any price. But they are not my Corvettes.

lol, indeed, I was with Mike this weekend in that barn. The old guy has been saying the same thing for years..aint enough money to buy this car...like Mike, some things are just more important than money. Life isnt about money, cars, toys, power, ect..However, they can put a smile on your face.

Sorry, I'm in the every "thing" HAS a price camp.

By "thing" I mean tangible property, like cars.

Is there anyone here who would really turn down one million dollars for a car with a market value of $50K?

I think the point is that many of us have "things" that we would not sell for market value, or some measurable amount above market value.

I don't want to sell my 56 rat rod Corvette, but $50K would pry it from my hands real fast.

And yes, there are a few weird people that would say no to a rediculously high offer. My guess would be you haven't found the right currency yet.

I don't think everything has a price, but I do think every "thing" has a price.

everything is for sale even if its not for sale. The key is how much will it cost to pry it out of the other guys hands. Remember you will always pay more for sentimental value and my 64 has a ton of sentimental value.

I have to admit... I sold this car once... bought it back from the guy a year later. He put 5 miles on it. Cost me $1k over what I sold it for...

When I sold one of my chrome bumper late models, the guy asked me if my 67 Camaro, which was parked beside it, was for sale. I said throw out a number. I was almost floored by the number which was about 4x what I thought is was worth. I have a sentimental attachment to the car I have owned since highschool in the early 70's, so I passed. If it meant my kids go hungry or couldn't go to college it would be gone. Since that isn't my condition currently I've got to say it's priceless.

Wish I had kept his number though......

Most material things have a price in my humble opinion! First $80K takes my 62.
