Default Leather Fiero seats are in & insulation done.

Finished tearing out the old carpet, cleaning the floor and rear, installing new insulation, carpet, and custom leather Fiero seats with no headrest from the prior project I posted some time ago. These seats have sliders and recline. Here are just a few pics of the work I did over the past 5 days.

Hear are pics of the Fiero seat next to my corvette seat before I cut the headrest and re-covered in leather:

The steering wheel in your car is that from a newer car?
I kind of like it. It does not look so big

Mr Mikes, he has a web site and makes the covers in either leather like mine or vinyl or cloth with or without headrests. http://www.mrmikes.com/fierohome.htm

Yep, it's from a early chevy 15" VS standard 16". I made an adapter to fit my standard column. Also covered it with leather.

It's called Low-E and has foil on both sides with some kind of foam inbetween with very small air pockets. It's only 3/16" thick.

Very nicely done Ken. I notice you have AC vents on the side panels but nothing on the dash panel indicating factory air. Is that for an aftermarket unit?

Looks really nice… how do the seats feel and how well do they hold you in place?

Seats feel great, hold you in place but the side bolsters are not overly restrictive like some. Very comfortable and with the recliner, you can adjust to different positions. I feel way more secure in them VS the stock seats. I also like to looks better! I can always switch back as I made adapter plates so the originals will go right back in place. No new holes in the floor for mounting.
