George,

Having seen what your car looked when you started your project you sure have come a loooong way!

Best of luck with the remainder of your project.

You look to be running modern suspension, so offsets might be a bit of a challenge.

If you are heading in the direction of the knock offs, you might want to investigate EVOD wheels. They make a modern version of the original wheel, and I believe you can play with diameters and offsets with these guys.

Thanks, I will check out EVOD web site. i think you have a good idea, I am not sure what my offset is nor what size wheels will fit, i figured if I bought O it would be a no brainer. They would fit regardless.
Keep in touch
Thanks george

George, I'd run it past Rich Lagasse for the best advice. He's done it a number of times, and is well able to assist here.

Many guys run modern design wheels/offsets, and this would certainly be the most cost effective. These could be had for a few hundred dollars a set.
When you start running exotic wheels, it does get quite expensive. A set o EVOD's could run you up to $6k a set, and that's not small change.

You might like to look salt flat racer replica wheels, they look cool, and would most likely be more cost effective. It really depends on the look you really like, and the budget you have.
As you seem to know Rich, I'd give him a call, he's certainly been a great help to me in the past, and is well informed as to what is out there.

Here is a 63 split on a C4 Car Creations chassis with one-off 15" Evod knock-offs. More pics on Evod and Car Creations site.

Here's a photochop of a 67 with rallye wheels.

Note that the 63 also uses Newman's wider rear fenders = more room for wider wheels. Very cool car all together!

I don't know much about it other than I saw it while checking out the Car Creations and Evod sites. It uses a Car Creations frame but may use the 1985-87 suspension (probably) or the 1988-96 suspension (2" wider). It may have a special brake rotor/caliper combo to clear those small wheels. As noted above, the one-off Evod wheels start at $1500 each. Shaun at Evod could get you the specs on the wheels, while Paul at Car Creations would have the particulars on the chassis. Pretty cool ride, truly a vintage look with a modern chassis.
