It runs down a plenum just forward of the door hinges (past the fresh air vents on the kick panels), and out the bottom, onto the ground.

Harry

(It should drain freely. If you have water collecting under the grills, then something is plugged up.)

I have a little water coming into the drivers floor when using high pressure water. I have just changed the windshield weathersrip too so i thought it might come in there.

I usually dont wash the car using high pressure water but i would like to see where the water is coming from.

If you look under your car next to your rocker panels you should see an elongated slot, you might be able to see some leaves or the such...It is plugged and then back flows in they car..
Try running some water and look for the drain to drip.

RoadKing96 I am trying to figure out where the picture is taken on your car?
I suppose its on the front fender. I suppose you have taken off the grilles and that the drain holes are under the grilles in front of the windshield where the wiper rods comes thru?
Now i think i get it. The picture is taken from the underside of the car?

There for sure was some dirt in the drain holes so i suppose its the same on my car

Is it possible to take a picture of the drain hole from the top of the car?

What did you use tu clean out the drain pipes?

Oh its been a long day

The body is off the car and on a body dolly. The picture was taken from under the body looking up at the front corner of the bird cage. The hole to the right is for the body mount bolt and the hole to the left is the drain for the cowl vents.

Hope this helps.

Have someone blast the high pressure at the tender spot while you have your head up underneath the dash with a flashlight. It shouldn't be hard to tell if you have a leak through the windshield or wiper pivots. Pull the carpet back a little from the kick panels and see if water is running down there. If it is, your rocker drains as described above are stopped up. Just pull the kick panels and reach back in the hole and drag the debris out.

Default Drain holes

The drain holes are behind your inside vent grilles on each side down by the floor. If you remove your vent grilles, you can usually stick your hand in there and feel the drain holes, and whatever is clogging them up. I usually close the vents and blow them out from the bottom and watch all the leaves and junk fly out the top. It's amazing what gets in there.
