I built a very similar body lifting jig for 63-82 cars. Works very good.
Good luck on the restoration and please keep posting pictures.

Great start, keep things going and lots of pictures for us, please. I am also a big fan of black. Are you intending to repaint it black? Mine is a triple black, 64.

Just finished doing mine. I took over 500 pics along the way so if you need any for re-assembly let me know.

Default update

OK, finally got the frame back from the strippers.

I think I got the parking brake brackets (disc brake conversion) in the right places--thanks to Phil Sauber

Differential rebuilt and back from Gary "GTR1999" along with the "Tom's" offset T/A's

They say it takes a community to raise a child, well it takes a forum to build a vet. Thank you to all that have helped push me along, especially Gary Ramadei, you are a wealth of information and your willingness to help out the novice is greatly appreciated.

Shemp, I'm sure you'll pass me by. Once the chassis is done I've got a lot of body work ahead of me.

Could you post a picture of the wire/shackle you used to hold the front/back body together and describe where you attached them too?
