Braille Batteries
I have read a lot of threads about batteries but never see the Braille batteries mentioned. For those of us that don't try to start a car in below zero conditions, might this be a solution. I want to put the battery in the trunk (wheel well) of my 60 and need the smaller physical size and the ability to position it on its side. They are expensive but might be worth it.
Any experience or opinion would be appreciated.

31 amp hour reserve is less than 1/3rd of a "normal" Corvette sized battery (for Braille's largest 21 pound unit in that series).
Their biggest unit is a 100 amp hour rated battery (B10049), and is larger (almost 14" long), with a wgt. of 58 lbs., and goes for $298.

I've had a couple in a few cars. They work ok in low compression motors. I had trouble with one cranking over one of my high compression motors(12.8:1, but only 2L). Never had a problem with turbocharged low compression motors though.
