I live on border - literally - gov't of canada is my neighbor. Just below the lewiston queenston bridge on the water. I have a lot of Canadian friends and family ship a lot of stuff here. Big stuff sometimes. Car parts, wine, generators... You name it..

Only rule is you need to come and get it! I only take over stuff for immediate family!

If anyone is close (Toronto is barely an hour) PM me. You can ship your stuff here and come pick it up when you have time.

Anyone have any dealings or knowledge of this vendor... I love Corvette Central, Wilcox, MaryJo and Blue Ribbon but shipping larger items is always really expensive to Canada. Then you have to deal with Canada Customs and or a broker....

Any info would be greatly appreciated or if someone could recommend another vendor in Canada that would be much appreciated...

Cheers

Ken
I deal with them all the time. slow on shipping, you must keep your own record of what is shipped. pleasent people too deal with. They have a free catalogue.

This is a Corvette/Muscle car seller in Ontario. I lived in Kingston and he was about 40 miles from me. Prices were good, but delivery was slow. He orders, then it has to be shipped to him, then he reships to you. I found most prices equal to buying in the US without the hassle.
No idea if things have changed, I have not ordered anything from him in 6 months.

What hassle? I order from Corvette Central in Michigan and my order arrives within a week by U.P.S. C/C looks after customs, provincial tax, etc. Couldn't be more hassle-free.

I just bought new sill plates from Corvette Depot. Great prices and I received the sill plates 2 days later. I definitely go to them first to see if they have what I need before I flip to Corvette Central.
They have a good online catalogue too.

Default Corvette Canada

Unfortunately my good friend Ron Stevens (Beaky) passed away in London on June 1 2012. Although he did not have his parts catalogued on the computor, he could take a quick walk out back in his shop and come up with almost anything you might for a 52-67 Corvette and also had reasonable prices. RIP Beaky.

Has someone taken over Beaky's business?

Up here in Manitoba, I use Menke's Parcel Service in Neche, ND. Snookie Menke, the owner is a great guy to deal with. He charges $2.00 (US) for handling small or medium sized parcels, a little more for larger items like tires and engines. I make sure I have all my bills of sale when crossing the border back to Canada.

The trouble with most shipping to Canada is most retailers in the US select UPS. UPS hoses people for their delivery. I had a 4 pound box, about 6 inches square shipped from Southern California. The "clear customs" fee was $70, the price of the item in the box was $80
So unless companies are willing to send USPS, or have a "ship free", I no longer bother. I set up a drop box in the US. It works better.

Hi Folks, when you in the Windsor area, please try to take a visit by Corvette Depot. We do have a real brick and mortar store and full warehouse with thousands of parts in stock, along with many original and discontinued AC Delco parts.

We do try to ship orders out as quickly as possible, typically within 10 calendar days or sooner, but it is sometimes difficult to inventory our complete line of 30,000 online products.
