Decoding question 67 corvette
I have a trim tag that reads as follows:
DO2
Style 67 437 SO825 Body
TRIM 450 AG 976AA Paint
Can you let me know what the AG and the DO2 is. I think I have the other figured out.
Also, would like to know where on the internet or book that I can decode all the parts for the car.
Any and all help would be appreciated.

Safety Car
D02 = body 'born on date' = Nov. 2 1966.
Being a St. Louis body it likely rolled off the line a day or two later barring weekends.
Being an 'early' production '67' I wonder if you have the 'long' hazard warning button, lack of crome band around parking brake handle and possibly rally wheels with a 'B' code (instead of DC).
AG code is past me.:o

Melting Slicks
D02 is the time build code or the date when the body passed the body assembly line. In some instances it is the DOB but not in all instances.
D= Nov 02= day of the month.

The "450AG" means it was built originally with the white/blue 2-tone interior, with power windows, and without headrests, shoulder belts, Powerglide, or a big tank.
