Ok:
Please Help me decide . Attached are the 3 cad programs we've come up with for the EFI filter lids. Witch one ? Or perhaps Your suggestions on something completely different & unique.
Will take everyone's advice and use the Original FI valve covers. Thanks for the help everyone ........... GRA3

They all look good but I think the machining adds another dimension vs. the plain covers. If you are going to use the Hilborn script I like the second version better than the first.
One other thought, instead of ball milling the grooves, would be to machine raised "fins" to match the style of the valve covers. It would take a thicker piece of billet to do it that way but may be something to consider.

Perhaps " Hilborn
Fuel Injection " Would look better than EFI ? I'm also looking for the FONT for the Corvette Script on the valve covers. I believe its Harlow Script ?

None.Got a beautiful motor there. You will have Hilborn on both sides, why?I would go with fins to match the valve covers with no writing.I think with some writing on the covers things might start looking too busy.Thats a problem people make when putting something together, gettin too busy.Keep it simple and you cant go wrong.

How about grooves with "Hilborn" in script to match the valve covers?
Off topic, but I've read about those grooves you have on your AFR heads. How did you determine placement, depth, and length?
Also, what oil pump is that?
Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Here's a font that is very close to the Corvette script used on the valve covers:

Much better...but after seeing Hilborn's logo, with the Hilborn In block and the second line in Script, I believe that breaks it up a little while still being era correct. Maybe a little of both would be the ticket..
I agree that if there is away...raised fins and letters would be best...but I don't know how difficult would be. The other is still good though, IMHO.
