Default More 63 resto pics

Here are some more pics of the engine. Going to fire it in the chassis as soon as my new Dewitt's rad arrives. As you can see I had the modify my choke tubes to run this 340hp set-up with my FI exhaust manifolds. Hopefully I can get the correct FI unit next year (just need the 10K). I also have to still get the correct oil filler cap, carb spring & mount and alternator pulley.

Cheers,

Bob

It looks like you have the exhaust manifolds opposite of their correct positions. I believe the choke tube goes on the passenger side.

No, as per my original post above, I have FI exhaust manifolds on the car which are opposite to the carb cars. This is an FI car albeit the FI unit was taken off and sold a few years back. Everything else is still there hence the wrong manifolds for the 340hp carb set-up.

Cheers,

Bob

As everything else on the car is #'s match and date correct I plan on getting the FI unit back on so am leaving everything set-up for it. The extension hose's from the other side should work OK for now.

Cheers,

Bob
