Before my '54 was my car, it was my Dad's car. He freely volunteered its services as a conveyance for local beauty queens. These two photos, both dated sometime in 1971 illustrate what I mean:
Neither of these compete with the previous photos showing bare skin on fiberglass. But, hey, this was in a small, conservative, rural Georgia town. Cut me some slack here, OK?
