I could not believe the price. 1967 Irwin bolt-on screwdriver restored for sale. $600.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For something that cost GM around 50 cents. WOW. My Great Grand Father would be proud . Bill.

Now I don't feel bad asking $400 for 2 original 1967 starburst center caps!

I have seen real Irwin bolt-on screwdrivers go for $2000. I can understand this since they are rare. What surprises me is when original 67-68 antenna masts go for $400 plus. Why doesn't anyone make a good reproduction mast?

I don't think I've ever seen a $2000 screwdriver. Can anyone post a picture?

Our military buys lots of them along with similarly priced hammers and toilet seats.

Yup - see below. Irwin only made 720 of them - even the reproductions bring $500-$600 these days.

I've got an idea for a new game, it's called "Guess what Corvette related item JohnZ doesn't have a picture of . . ."

Now the only thing left to do is find a sponsor, he wouldn't have to have very deep pockets, I'm thinking . . .
