Default Thanks to John Z

John: After your comment to me about throw out bearing failure caused by not enough play in the clutch pedal, I checked my car out. Only to find lots of play, but most of the free play was in rod that goes from the clutch pedal forward through the firewall. The hole in the end of the rod where it attaches to the clutch pedal is worn out and is now a 1/2" slot rather than a hole! I've ordered a new rod. Thanks for the help John.

There is a reason that John is being inducted into The National Corvette Museum Hall of Fame. Actually, there are A LOT OF REASONS John is being inducted into the NCM HOF.

Congrats John, and well done, as usual.

I agree. Very helpful and knowledgeable and doesn't get involved in the "office politics". He just answers the issue at hand and moves on.
