First time Try at Posting Pic of my '66 Vette
I was so impressed with posting of the 63 Silver Vette with the 17" TT wheels I thought I would try my hand at this, so people could see what one looks like with Chrome Rally Wheels. I really wanted the TT but with my disc brakes they hit and I just put on new calipers and didn't feel like putting a grinder to them. Hope this thing works!

Sharp...nice classic look. I am like you...would like to put on Torq Thrust D's but everything I see on the forum is that they wont clear the discs. Probably going to break down and get bolt on knock offs. :seeya

Ron, wheels look real good, nice contrast to the silver.
gilbybarr, I have Torque Thrusts on my '67. Here is the story to fit them. Wheels need to go to Mil. Spec. machine shop to have the lug holes bored to take straight shank deep lugs, spacers need to be purchased or made. The tire shop I delt with absorbed the cost of machining due to misunderstanding of American statement. I'm having new spacers made right now. I can send you the EXACT details in the next couple of weeks. I have approx. 15K miles since installation, no problems. Since my car has performance susp. it sits lower and the tire, 205x70x15 just clears the lips, you should have no problems.
....just drive 'em! Dennis, TOY-1

Rondog,
Nice classic touch! Like to see a closeup shot of this chromed look. Always was curious if going this route + adding a 3-bar spinner to this look would enhance it any. Just a reflection of my taste with this.
Regards,
Jim

Hey Guys, thanks for the great compliments. For those of you wanting to know. The Wheels are 15X6, the tires are P205/75r/15. No problem with rubs!
The center cap is the standard ralley center. I did think about those 3 spinners also, but changed my mind at the last minute. I got the wheels & tires from Coker Tire. Mounted, balanced, & shipped put me back about a grand. (Not too shabby!)

Love the look. I have ralley wheels on my '66, but with the trim rings. I like your idea much better. Any chance you could post a close up of the wheel? I would love to see one.

Quite a few people have asked for close up pictures of the wheels.
As soon as I get a chance to get a picture, I will post it for all of you.
Hopefully in a day or 2.
