...hey, everybody has to have a hobby....some people enjoy looking for those tiny little numbers and some people are just plain fascinated at watching what those people will do to be "correct"

Now if somebody just has some date coded, late June '66 St Louis air for my tires I will be in HOG HEAVEN. My restoration will be complete!!!! Anybody got the P/N for that air? I think the May air had a different P/N: more pollen content, less exhaust emissions...............
That door panel nonsense is exactly what I rage about. If you need something that cannot be repopped you're screwed by these bucks down pirates. Some fish is gonna swim right up and buy that stuff. If not at $1500 at some insane price. Now all the original door panels become worth more!!!!

What can I say,..except that there's a sucker born every moment!!! Seems to me there r a whole lotta' people with more bucks than sense these days out there doing a $500,000 restoration to a car that's probably only going to be worth $30-$35k going market price when they're done,...oh well,..whatever floats your boat and if they feel good about paying that kind of $'s for original door panels then it's the buyer's nickel.

I have a feeling the guy tried to change $15 to 20 and was in insert mode for a total of $1520 my guess is the first $20 bid will take them home. It sure blows your mind looking at it though :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:
