Barn Find - Whats it Worth?

I would inventory all the stuff in the boxes and make sure what is there.
This looks like a donor car, all the parts got sold to other owners.
If so, it is a $3K car.
If all the chrome and parts are in the boxes, it is a $10K car.

I would buy it in a heart beat. 10k is a good price with all the parts. The windshield frame is worth 2k by it self.

I just made a deal to buy it for $7,500. I am picking it up late this afternoon. I will try and post some more pictures tonight after I dig it out for anybody who's interested. Thanks for all the advice, it was a big help.

Congrats, you can part it out and easily make your money back if you had to. All the answers to your project will be found in this forum, so grab some coffee or a few beers and start reading the archives! My car was in far worse shape then yours and somehow with the help of many of these forum members mine is about to see daylight so I am sure you will achieve your desired goal.
I look forward to your pics and watching your project proceed. If I can help in anyway just let me know.

For $7500 you just enrolled in Corvette University with a major in restoration....well done. Dennis

I paid twice that for my 60 in 98 in boxes.(see my pics) The only things missing were probably discarded on purposed because they had to be replaced.
I did everything myself except paint and bodywork. $25K more and I'm way ahead and happy. A 30K driver is gonna cost about the same to restore as what you got, if the parts are there.
You did very well. You have a long road ahead. It's worth it.
Should have my slide show from start to finish done soon and will post.
Congrats, great find.

Well, it's home. I added a couple of pictures to the original link. The picture of the parts table is just some of what I brought home. Like I said, the original motor is gone, but I did end up with the original heads, intake and exhaust manifolds, oil pan etc. Even the wonderbar radio. It has been parked since 1972, 37 years. The owner took it all apart to paint it and thats as far as he got. It's now a big jigsaw puzzle.

Nice find, and at a pretty good price. I am also a C3 guy that got into C1s. You will be amazed how simple these cars are compared to C3s. Also a heck of a lot easier to work on, you can actually get to things on a C1.
Keep us posted on your progress, and let us know what we can do to help.

Looks like a great find at a very good price. Congratulations!
Since it's been tucked away in the dry climate of the inland west I bet you have very little rust. There's a good chance that the chrome and stainless will shine up pretty well.
Well done.
