Maybe it's a '57 with a '62 rear!

It does have the chrome around the coves.

Unless it's a '61.

C'mon detail detectives, figure this out!

You can see the '56-7 dash 'eyebrow' thru the windshield. It also has what looks like a '57 inside mirror (no height adjustment screw). My guess is a '57 with a '61-2 rear clip.

I'm glad you didn't race on this day you would have the trophy.
Looks like a couple of pretty quick race cars.
These were from my 57 Chevy. Lots of fun.

I have a 56-57 one piece gasser nose if someone want's to make a hybrid.
I need to post it in the classifieds but I have NO IDEA what it's worth.
I think shipping would be more that it's worth.
