I bought my 57 in the fall of 1996. Started driving it in 98 .
While playing with NHRA Drag Cars in 1982 I bought a magazine that had me hooked, years later I got my Blue 57.
I'm 56 years old now.

Bought my 60 in 1973....$1050. Hopped in it and almost made it home. I'm 59. Sold my 1970 GTO convert for $1800 to pay for it. Just bought a 750 Kawasakee triple for $1200....I was broke.

Not too long out of college, I bought my '61 in January of 1971 off the dealer show room floor sitting beside a brand new '71. I still think it looks better than the one I passed on. Now , at age 61, I'm finishing a "mini" restoration and still enjoying and learning about my Corvette.

I see a lot of people here, like me, bought their car a long, long time ago, and still have it.
First saw my car in December 1973 when i was 16, bought it a few months later at age 17.
