Default C2 Glove Box Radio Insert

I have seen glove box inserts where an aftermarket radio can be mounted within the glove box of a C2. Could anyone point me to the manufacturer of the inserts.

I just cobbled up a box to secure the radio.

Inserts? We don't need no stinkin' inserts!

Default Transmitter Glove: A System That Understands Piloting

The Radio glove system minimizes obstruction to transmitter controls and allows the pilot to have a relaxed handling of the controls.
To have a detailed understanding of the method to use LIMAC glove, please refer to this link : ebay.com/itm/Transmitter-Radio-Glove-NEW-Red-/330660861559?ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

I suspect you are referring to the rigid plastic unit that replaces the original cardboard glove box. It is actually made for retrofitting modern AC systems in midyears, and is about half as deep as the original.

I got mine from Volunteer Vettes in Knoxville, TN.

This one was made up with some scrap plywood and a piece of carpet.

Could not find this on their website. Do you have a part #?

Their website is www.volvette.com but I didn't see anything like what you are looking for. I have their catalog, I'll take a look.

Catalog says "not available".

Classic Auto Air also makes a shallow plastic glove box for use with their a/c's. Check out their web site. Give them a call. It's not a catalogue item but they will sell you one.
