Default My 59 has a has a new "baby"....

Thought I'd share a few photos of my new ride. Pics of my 59 to keep it pertinent. OMG it is the best! I'll be posting on the C6 site but wanted to tell you all here also. As you can tell, I like white/red! Ever since I was a kid I wanted a new(er) Corvette. The C6 got me after all those years. Open headlights, grille teeth, etc, etc. It's a 07 3lt ls2(404hp) & z51 suspension, paddle shifters.....loaded with everything. Ok it's auto, but due to my ailments it's right for me. Wife's ok with it cuz she can drive too.(I drive her 63 when she's not looking!)

Default Two very nice rides!

White & Red Classic. When I ordered my C6 I wanted that same combo. The wife wanted silver and titanium so we compromised and got silver and titanium. Enjoy

Great montage of photos...tough to decide what to drive every day !

Yeah, when picking out my 2nd car the wife wanted a 2006 Durango and I wanted a late model vette. We took a vote and she told me how it turned out...my delegates weren't counted !

Thanks guys......it was easier for me. 22 years ago I bought the 59 as a birthday present for myself. She couldn't refuse. Figured I'd try the same procedure this time. It still works!!!!

Congrats on the new car, looks great.

There's a world of difference between the two when driving them - isn't there?

Certainly is.....I love both. The 59 with it's bias ply tires has it's own unique "feel" of the road. Love the 4sp & dual fours. The 07 is sooooo different. Creature comforts with the performance.

Having the choice is very fortunate. Lots of hard work pays off sometimes. Brett, saw your pics of the 53 restoration....outstanding!

Thanks to all......
