Default '66 floor mats

Anybody know what the original floor mats were like? I see clear rubber, 80/20 carpet with rubber and chevrolet logo, solid black rubber with logo. Do you know where I can get them?

I think clear rubber mats were original for your 66. There are several vendors who sell them. I would recommend Volunteer Vett products at 865-521-9100 or Keens Parts at 800-757-KEEN. They are also both good sources for some of those smaller parts you were looking for in the parts section.

They were dealer accessory items, not factory. Clear with Chevy bowtie emblem inside of a 'circle' of sorts. LH has notches for dimmer switch and accel pedal. All the aftermarket dealers (Paragon, CC, etc.) sell reproductions.

They take on a nice yellow patina over time.

We can take care of what ever style you want. Black and clear rubber or a carpet.
Thank you

Easy - there weren't any original mats (from the factory).

Today, an original clear plastic mat will not be clear, it will be yellow from age.

Somewhere on the forum is a discussion on these floor mats with and without part numbers and which one is believed to be original versus repro.
