60 trunk mat????
Once again I have stumbled upon a discontinued item from Al Knoch. I need a red trunk mat for a late 60 vette without power top. I can get on anytime for one with power top, but mine is not.
Got any suggestions

Try these guys, I've had good luck with them for obscure parts.

I think that what you will find is the trunk mat from romeo is for the 1956-mid year 1960. The late in the year 1960 trunk mat is different for non-power top corvettes. The trunk mat that romeo sells (and everyone else) has the relief area for the power top whether your car had power top or not. All 1956-mid 1960 trunk mats had the relief area and the bulge in the front board whether your car had power top or not. The later 1960 corvettes used the same mat and board if they had the power top, but a different front board and trunk mat was used on those without power top. This is the mat that is so hard to locate. I have talked with Romeo and they didn't seen to have any plans to reproduce the late 1960 mat any time soon! While finding a late 1960, non-power top trunk mat in Black or Red would be tough, how would you like to try to find a Turquoise or Frost Blue late 1960 trunk mat?
My 1960 is a late (May 27, 1960) corvette, should have the tough to find trunk mat and has a frost blue interior. I have found an original
mat in fair shape and a "new" original mat, both in blue. I felt very lucky.
Good luck!

found one
Thanks guys for all your help. I can't beleive I found one and I hope it is what I need. Brent from Grossumeyers ( I think that's how you spell it) ordered me one in the red for $200.00 which is reasonable. His number is 908-213-8832.
Good luck to everyone and thanks again

I look forward to your response as I have had a bear of a time tracking one of these down for my late '60 as well... Kind of a strange mid-year change isn't it?
The other option that I considered was buying the "power top" board even though there is no power top and getting a mat that fits it...oh well.
Look forward to see if it fits - Brent might be getting quite a few calls...

No Mat !
I can't believe it! Brent from Grossmueller called me first thing this morning and said his supplier faxed him and said they thought they had them but after looking again the no-power top mats are not available.
I tell you guys....we're in for a hunt!
