Ironcross/Wally,
I'm flying your way to get two of my favorite things. The Rivera GS in order to tow the Century Coronado home. These two objects of art just make me weak in the knees. You have some neat stuff. Did you ever run your A/A at Capital Raceway, Aquasco, Budds Creek (now known as Maryland Internation Raceway), or 75&80 Dragaway? If so, I think I remember see it. It's something about "Walt's Puffer" that rings a bell. Great collection of desirables. Dennis

Man, you all have some fine vehicles! I am especially jealous of whoever it was who had several Big Healy's of various ages, the V-12 Jag XKE, plus the old 280SL, all of which are on my "love to own" list. (Not to mention the boats that some folks have thrown in...)
Unfortunately, my car list is pretty much regular-usage cars:
1. 1959 Vette (avatar photo) - the toy
2. 2000 Ford Expedition (my daily driver - 151,000 miles)
3. 1991 Mercedes 420SEL (wife's former and still mostly daily driver - 198,000 miles)
4. 2007 Volvo C70 (retractable hard-top convertible) - wife's new car - it is intended to replace the 420SEL but we want to get to 200,000 miles before getting rid of the Mercedes, and may keep it beyond that
We have a 3-bay garage and manage to actually fit three cars in it (all but the Expedition), which is a rarity here in basement-less California.

PS, opening and reading the 'Cuda" page you can hear that A990 Race Hemi start and run.

I also have:
- a 1967 Plymouth GTX 440/auto
- a 2003 Ford Lightning (with a few mods)
- a daily driver 1997 Buick LeSabre (doesn't that excite you - no one would give me anything for it when my wife got a new car so I decided to keep it and drive it until I can no longer repair it). No picture available.

Thanks for the compliment. Any time you are in NJ you're welcome to take them for a ride. BTW I'm surprised to see only one other British car on the list and it was a 8 cylinder MGB. I guess even now most guys are either American muscle or LBC owners but few are both. Guess I'm just schizo.

I've always had a fondness for Austin Mini's. I've had 2 of them.
The yellow one was a 64 Mark 1 with a 1098 CC.
The white one with the Union Jack roof was a real Mark 1 67 Cooper S with a built 1275.
Sold the white one about 8 years ago.
Someday, I'll buy another.

Chuck,
That brings back memories. My first car in the 1960s was a used Morris Mini Minor 850. As a student, it was all I could afford. Great car although the winter salt here was hard on them. The Cooper versions were very popular for ice racing on local lakes. Being so low and when equipped with studded tires they were hard to beat.
I still have the "Austin Seven Service Parts List" in very good condition. If that would be of use to you send me a PM and I will mail it off to you. No charge.

I'd love to have it. I'll PM you my address.
The Mini's were very fast, and cornered like a car on a roller coaster track.
I removed the hydrolastic suspension on the 67, and replaced it with a "dry" cone suspension.
That little bugger would fly. Should have kept it.
The 67's in California.....again....where it came from originally.
The 64? Lost track of it decades ago. Sold it in the 80's.
