2023 C1 of the Year Finalist - Modified
2015 C1 of the Year Finalist

Default I REALLY wish you guys would stop the C1, C2, C3, etc crap

For example, when you say C1, are you talking about a 54 or a 62, or something in between??????????????????? They're not even close to the same car!!!!!! HELL, A 53 AND A 54 ARE NOT EVEN THE SAME CAR!
Again, when you say C2, are you talking about a 63 or 67-----------------------also, they're not even the same car!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some of them have SIMILAR appearances, but that's it, they're NOT the same car. When you ask something about your car--------------GIVE THE YEAR MODEL-------------NOT C1, C2, etc!

Does this sound like a rant against you guys??????? YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!

When spotted at a light, i`m told 'Nice Vette" and asked what year. They dont even know what a "C" is. well maybe they do.....

Could be the new age language where we use letters for words

As I remember, and I was there,
53-55 had no name other than corvette. No offense meant.
56-62-Solid axle
63-67 Stingray ( one or two words, I do not remember )
68-72 Shark cars.
84-current- they all just blend together.

Thats what we called 68 to 82's before this C1 C2 C3 crap. 68 and up where late models and 63 to 67 where mid years. 62 and down we called early cars. Now this was mid to late 70's. So the shark cars where still new every year.

Simple solution

That the FORUM owner break this section up into specific years EX:
  • 1953
  • 1954
  • 1955
  • ----
  • 1965
  • 1966
  • 1967
No more C1-C2 references.

Then the problem goes away and EVERYONE is happy

Well maybe not everyone

In my book all C1s are quite close enough but has NOTHING to do with C2

Why there are specific forums for rest of the generation thru C3-C7 ?

But C1s and C2s are tight together
