Default Am I as mentally unballanced as the wife and kids think I am?

In May, my baby turned 40. I bought her a cake. When the wife came home, the daughter had a face on. Wife asks what's wrong, daughter says "dad bought that car a birthday cake"!. Funny how I did not get the first piece.

This weekend marks the second anniversary with my baby. The wife said no cake. I bought cup cakes!!! Did not get the first of those either!! Took her for a nice drive, can't get enough of those side pipes hooked to a small block Chevy winding up through the gears.

Oh well, guess all of us are a little crazy, some a little more than others. Guess I may be in the latter group after all. So be it.

Miss achapman's Friday funnies, thought I might share something disturbing but true and a touch funny.

Don't feel bad.
The joke around here was my son telling people that I actually went out into the garage every night to check on the Vette and say Goodnight.

Default You're Not Mentally Unballanced at All

Here is the birthday cake the wife came up with this year. Your wife and kids just have to unterstand Corvette fever.

Default Happy Birthday

Hey Guys....mine turned 40 on 4/16/07. Only one person showed up for her Birthday Party. Took her out, showed her the town. Yeah baby!!
No side pipes, but under car pipes sang "Happy Birthday",along with 14t,2nd,3rd &4th. No ! you're not a mental case. We're still a kid inside, when it comes to C1's & C2's.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY....ENJOY THE FRUITS OF YOUR LABOR..(labor pains from all the work that goes into making it enjoyable for others to see)

I'd say you are definately a little odd.... but that's OK, if you hang around someone enough, you'll find everyone has a few oddiities

like the guy who lets his dog lick his face while his mouth is open

like the woman down the street with the 40 cats

like the guy with the old Mopar in his garage that thinks it runs 10 second quarter miles and it's all stock......

or like me, a guy who think maybe this is the year the U of Michigan wins a National Championship

Yes! You are crazy! But so are most all of the rest of usin here

As for that cake...Wow! But it is soooo NCRS incorrect...lol But where did they find someone to make that...I want one!

As for Michigan's National title hopes...urrrrr, well I guess Appalachian State took care of that...sorry Big Blue.

Not the correct forum, but if you have to lose a football game, best to be the first of the year. If they win the rest of the way out and all the other contenders all lose a game they will be on top again.

...Except for the fact that Appalachian State is a Division 1-AA program - and that tends to make a Div 1A team (especially one ranked in the Top Ten) look bad - REALLY bad - no matter how well they do the rest of the year.

Cheers!

I picked up my Grandson from the Water Park he works at each summer. Another worker who spoke very little English came over to the Vette and just started taking pictures like crazy. I offered to take one with her in it and she declined saying the "The car is much more beautiful than me!". Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? Al W.

Yes you are.

So am I.

We all are.

I say Good night to the Vette too, have since I was old enough to talk.

Celebrated Vette's birthday too. My 6 year old daughter picked out the cake and sang Happy Birthday the loudest.

Train 'em early.
