1966 convertable, nassau blue, white/blue interior, 327/350, factory a/c, ps, pb, numbers matching. I feel like I'm writing up a for sale ad... I don't think I like this feeling

Re: What year is your C2? (396 RAT)
'63 Maroon Vert. (originally black and will be again, someday!!). Black interior and Black vert top. 300 h.p. 327 w/PG and PS. 3.08 posi, hubcaps, block number matches, but that about it, and I don't care :D :D Heck, I almost wish the block # didn't even match!!!! Still could use paint, but almost every moving part, and whole underneath of car is restored/redone.
Dad's car: '67 Black/Black Coupe 327/PG, AC, PS, Pwr Win, 3rd owner, Tank sticker, 95% original, 54,000 actual. Dad knows the original owner and it's been an Indiana car all it's life. Only major thing not original besides a few mechanical items, is the paint. Repainted in Laquer a few years ago. Never in a car show, rarely gets driven, Never NCRS judged (although I think it would do quite well!!!). I've tried to change all those things, but he's owned the car so long it's like a child to him I guess

Re: What year is your C2? (adamw1979)
I have a recently purchased '65 coupe with Powerglide, PW, PB and factory air.
Suspect I'll be needing help from ya'll as I get to "playing" with it. Thanks to
those of you who have responded to any of my earlier posts. I could use a
"C2's for Dummies" book. Is there anything out there on the tricks of the trade
for fixing screw holes that are too large (stripped out, etc). I've got the '63 manual
and the '65 supplement, plus Chilton's '63-82, and Noland Adams' book on restoration.
As I prowl around on, in and under the car I find interesting things. Snipped wires here
and there. By the way, my left backup light doesn't work. Changed the bulb, cleaned
up the contacts, etc. Do those pigtails go bad?
Just wanting to keep this a good driver and get the entertainment out of it. It's a kick
to own it and a joy to watch people react to it!
Enjoy reading ya'll during my lunch hours and getting educated by all you "Corvette Mentors".
Thanks
