How Old Is Dirt?
I guess most of you all know, I ordered the SOB. And for those that dont, 45+ years of a one owner unrestored 1962.
I also have the 68 88 since new too, 39 years
Damn, it only seems like yesterday.

Sorry to hear that;
My wife #1 ran off with my best friend, and I sure do miss him....
Wife #2 took herself, her hoodlum kids, and almost all of the $$$$$$ with her after about 2 years of a disaster marriage.
Current Wife #3 is a keeper, but she doesn't care much for my beloved '65 Vette (she says, "it costs way too much----it's just an old car!" ), which I have had about 2 years, but had wanted for about 40!
Moral: Old Vette much like Wives = Often Temperamental, High Maintenance, Costly, Hard to Figure Out; But, Easy to Look At & Fun to Play With---but have issues...

Well, I've said it before and I'll say it again... "if it 's got t*ts or wheels,eventually it will give you trouble". Now that being said,I've had the '61 for 37 years and the '89 for 7 years.Guess I'm just a glutton for punishment. Oh yea, wife #1, 4 years, wife #2, 32 years. Yep ,that confirms I'm a glutton for punishment!

Had the 61 for 39 years. Bought from original owner. Paint, seat covers, and freshened the engine over the 180,000 miles.
She will be leading 17 newer Vettes from Houston to BG May 22/23. Competing in the drags, auto-x, and dyno test, hoping to once again be the trifecta winner in the C-1 class. More imortant, having fun with all the neat Forum people.
