How do you set up a poll so we can get a count of each year (main driver if you have more than one) represented, 53-62?

Thanks,
Doug

I tried to post the picture to here. I couldn't figure out how. Thought I was following the directions, oh well. If you click on the link I think it will take you to the picture. It worked when I tested it.

OK, I bought my '61 back in Jan. '71 for $3500. Guess I should have bought 9 more at that price but back then it was top dollar for a 10 year old car. Ermine white/ Jewel blue interior and the dealer I bought it from had painted the coves jewel blue too.At the time I didn't even know it was not factory. It is #'s matching in all other catagories ,so I guess I'm lucky for that and have had a ton of fun with it over the years. Base engine with 4 speed, posi, and both tops.Currently doing some cleaning of engine compartment and replacing the interior that has suffered over the last 30 some years. Have a great New Year!

I have a 61' also.
I wonder how many are left of the 10,939 that were made. (Totaled, burnt, lost at sea???) Hey-- it could happen, but then again monkeys could fly out my butt!

Hey Doug,

To start a pole you go to the DB you want to the New Post and Pole, i.e. C1 & C2 Corvettes.

At the very bottom of the New Post form is a check box to start a Pole.

Yeah, these cars were hot rodded and driven by young guys mostly, I bet. With the way they were driven, many were probably wrapped around a tree or light pole also.

How do people come up with the ones that show up that have low mileage. Some people buy cars and save them, it happens.

Mine only has 36,xxx miles on the odometer, I know it has seen a lot more than that!

I had a red/red 61 that I restored, spent 2 years doing it (the front end had been crashed and talk about Bubba the replacement front was overlapped at the crest of the front wheel arch over the top of the original fender, attached with woodscrews and flared in with bondo then painted with some nasty enamel). I sold it to get a down payment on my first house. I still miss that car. Maybe one of these days I'll be able to afford another one.

Default another 61 here

i bought our 61 back in june from a guy who'd had it for 21 years, it came to MI from TN in 1985. its red with white coves, black interior and top. has a 350 in it from a 69 vette and a 4 speed. IMO 58-62 are the best looking vettes without question...of those 61 is my single favorite. still cant believe i have one in the garage...i love this car

I've owned my 61 since Dec. 1999. It was in a NJ flood and it was up to the roof.
Check out my pics.
