I feel sorry for the people who's eBay name and password get jacked which enables this crap.
Once, not too long ago, I received a very official looking eBay e-mail from someone offering to buy a vehicle I was selling for a friend before the end of the auction. In order to reply, I was led to a false eBay screen and asked to log in. I looked at the address bar and knew right away something was fishy... so beware, they're getting sneaky. You really have to pay attention to what's going on. I bet most people log in under false pretences which is how they get hijacked.

report it
It's easy enough to report them, and have the listing pulled:
make sure your loged into ebay then
start here:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_u...e=Continue+%3E
step one - choose "fraudulent listing"
step two - choose "you suspect that a listing is fraudulent you didn't bid"
step three - hit continue
NEXT page - hit the email link in the middle of the page.
Type the auction ID into the field and tell them it's a fraudulent listing likely from a hijacked account.

Since the guy has a high rating, 99.99, I sent him an email and asked about title, VIN, etc. He sent me back an email saying his account had been hi-jacked and he never owned the car, please don't bid on it. He should have sent something to eBay so they would cancel the sale. I just checked and the add is gone.
